Within Trovus I have to be the last and the only person who conciously has to think about using our collaboration suite.  We run IBM's quickr and have do some interesting things with it including allowing clients in to have access to wiki's for developing concepts.

Our understanding, led mainly by Jon, on driving behaviours and adopt around such tools is really growing.  So much if not all the value in such an application is tied to the instinctive usage.  This is always undermined by the reverting to type and relying on the substitutes that people know.

So it is with great pleasure that I tell me colleagues and you all that I had natural instincts to use our intranet today.

Fear was one.  Keeping the file on my PC, even with my back up, did not feel as safe as putting on the collaboration tool.  It felt safe there and so accessible to all.

The other was practicality.  My email box is too full and the server reminds me so frequently.  I emailed picture heavy presentation around and I was killing my capacity.  I feel I am running on constant "full".  Putting the presentation on quickr took a little pressure off.

So whose go the answer to what I can do with all these emails?
