Trovus Reference - feedback from what our clients say about us

Normally at Trovus, we are quite reserved, but we have just been shown a reference that one of our clients wrote for us in response to some questions that a Prospect of ours asked. We are quite proud of this and wanted to share this.

The questions the Prospect client asked were:

Dear Will,

I was advised by your office that it was best to contact you via email. Hopefully, as James Cameron from Trovus has already explained, we are planning to use their services and your details have been given to me by them as a referee.

I have a few questions I'd like to ask you about Trovus and the system you're using:

• What were your objectives in using them in using Trovus and did they meet them?
• What is your opinion of the quality and quantity of Sales opportunities delivered by Trovus
• Do you believe the Trovus system has delivered a positive return on investment
• Are there any issues surrounding the use of the system we should consider?
• Where there any surprises?

Dear Andrew,

This is no problem at all. I am a Trovus convert as you will see below.

• What were your objectives in using them in using Trovus and did they meet them?

In the desire to optimise our searches on line we found a great deal of the analytics difficult to read and at times misleading. I wanted a tool that our sales function could simply refer to daily. I found the Trovus tool delivered this and more. On starting the process we completely reconstructed our site in line with the tool to allow the sales function to monitor both the amount of time spent on our site and more importantly what the prospective purchaser was looking at. We refined our contact shaped on this. As a complete aside we also discovered our completion regularly raking though.


• What is your opinion of the quality and quantity of Sales opportunities delivered by Trovus

It is important that your sales team understand this for what it delivers in terms of information. The implementation is very straight forward. You will inevitably enhance the quality of the sales lead simply by having an inside track on the interest.

• Do you believe the Trovus system has delivered a positive return on investment

Without question.

• Are there any issues surrounding the use of the system we should consider?

It does not pick all visits up as it can be limited by the hosting company.

• Where there any surprises?

Not bad ones.

• What was Trovus like to work with, regarding charging, reliability and support?


Ed Charvet is unswervingly professional, but then if you have met him you will know that.

In simple terms for the relatively small cost this particular device delivers added value at every turn. I only wish everything else we did worked as well.
