Trovus was started 7 years ago by Caspar Craven and Edward Charvet. At that time, Trovus provided consultancy to technology businesses who wanted to build online communities. Through one specific project with one of the world’s largest technology companies, Trovus started to analyse and interpret website data to prove the effectiveness of social media.
This project drew Trovus to start to work with IP address data collected from websites, introducing us to the power of understanding and controlling data so intelligence could be extracted. This rapidly expanded beyond web data to cover all relevant data sets within any B2B company, such as finance and billing data, operations data, HR data, CRM data, automated marketing data, even data held in individual spreadsheets.
Trovus utilise the latest Business Intelligence tools and techniques including In Memory analytics to rapidly get our clients the answers that they need. Trovus have a proprietary data processing engine, Oyster, which enables us to give you rapid access to the intelligence, companywide, in a cost effective way.
