Trovus client Chameleon Net wins B2B Marketing Award for campaign utilising insightful web intelligence
Digital agency Chameleon Net has won the 'Best Use of Search Marketing' category in the B2B Marketing Awards. The award was Presented by Google and the judges chose Chameleon Net's innovative 'Money Talks' campaign, which made use of Trovus's differentiating web intelligence technology.
Taking place in 2010, the 'Money Talks' campaign aimed to attract prospective clients to an event run by Chameleon Net on how to measure and increase return on investment for digital activity.
The multi-touch campaign started with a direct mailer to highly targeted individuals with the call to action: 'to find out more, Google your name'. A Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising campaign and personalised landing pages were created so that individuals who Googled their name received a PPC advert. This featured their name, organisation name, and an invitation to register for the event via a dedicated, and personalised, landing page.
Dan Martin, Chameleon Net, comments:"We're so thrilled to have won this award. ‘Google your name' gave the search marketing element of the campaign stand-out personalisation, and we were able to effectively continue this very personalised and targeted approach beyond the PPC advertising through the use of Trovus. This ultimately led to a booked out event and some great opportunities for us as a business"
Caspar Craven, Co-Founder of Trovus adds: "We are very pleased and excited that Chameleon Net has won this award and that our actionable web intelligence insights enabled their campaign to achieve such exceptional targeting and personalisation. We enjoyed supporting them and meeting other finalists at the awards ceremony."
