Graduate Front End Developer

Trovus are an award winning business intelligence consultancy. We work with innovative clients, global B2B brands, from all business sectors. We develop products that add value to our clients’ business, sales, marketing and operations; we are a dynamic, small and energetic team responding quickly and slickly to our client needs.

We are looking for a developer to join our product development team, to enhance our product offering to clients, developing and supporting our online BI services.

You will be working in a small and dynamic team, quickly learning and implementing, delivering to our clients top quality innovative service.

You will have 2 main passions – data management on the one hand and front end development and data visualisation on the other hand – and you will enjoy tasks that involve both.

You’ll be skilled at building, debugging and testing web applications. You will also have a good eye for design and front end data visualisations.

As well as being excited by the prospect of working in a cutting edge business producing state of the art solutions you will have the following skills and experience

Essential

Excellent PHP5, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript skills

Excellent relational database skills – specifically MySQL

Agile development practices

Superb verbal and written communication skills with people of varying levels of technical expertise

Excellent problem solving skills

Good team player

Desirable

Graduate degree in computer science or related

Familiarity with visualisation tool, business intelligence, statistical and analytics tools.

Hands on with database procedures, views, ETL, performance tuning

Ability to create, read, understands, and interprets data models

Client facing and consultancy skills – a big bonus

And experience with

We are an award winning Managed Service Provider that helps leading B2B organisations with all aspects of data strategy from developing their data strategies, through to implementing BI solutions and delivering business insights.

As a Data Consultant you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to help our clients address their data challenges. You will be working in multi-disciplinary teams across B2B companies, using data analysis and modelling to support their decision making processes.
