The FD Centre is the fastest growing provider of part-time Finance Directors. The recent merger with FDUK has now also created the largest team of part-time FD's in the UK. Business Challenge
The FD Centre wanted to significantly increase the value delivered by their website and gain an insight into who was visiting the site and why. They wanted to have access to this valuable information to allow them to make informed marketing and business decisions, with a focus on increasing revenues, whilst at the same time identifying where marketing spend was being wasted.
They were very aware that their website as it stood was neither meeting the expectations of their visitors nor was it addressing their internal challenge of generating revenue or improving the quality of the marketing spend.
Solution
The FD Centre re-branded and implemented a new website design. In tandem with this they used Trovus Dashboard to identify which organisations were looking at the their website, how frequently they were visiting the site, what pages they were looking at and how long they were spending on those pages.
The FD Centre was immediately able to use this insight to ensure that the content for their re-designed site was relevant and consistent for their target audience including existing clients and prospects.
When Trovus first started working with the FD Centre, visitor levels were low and it was quickly clear that the majority were not relevant i.e. many students looking for jobs. Over the programme, volumes increased 7 fold with visitors spending more time on the site and viewing more content, but most importantly the majority were now relevant to the FD Centre.
Results
The FD Centre has been able to develop a simple and intuitive revenue generation process for their website. They now have a client worth in excess of £60,000 a year and 8 prospective clients as a result of targeting 35 organisations identified by Trovus Dashboard with a follow up telemarketing campaign.
