Sharing the risk, Sharing the reward and real market intelligence

We at Trovus have recently found ourselves having conversations with people who are taking an increasingly creative stance when it comes to agreeing terms.  We see this as a real endorsement that we are presenting a confident front to our propositions.  Sharing the risk of any deployment means that we are spending a good amount of time understanding businesses that are relatively alien to us.  We find however that the web and by that I mean specifically people websites, can deliver to us a significant volume of information that allows us to make hopefully well informed choices if we throw our hat into the ring with a customer.  This is the information that our increasing capability in the analytics space gives us, ie what is happening at the backend of a website.

Trovus has always had a belief that value and service come first.  Our clients can walk away at a moments notice, because in our world, there is no point on either side in forcing two companies to work together if the value simply isn't there.  So I guess we have been running the risk element all along.  Now with the types of conversations we are having, the reward element is coming into better focus and it will be our belief in what we do that will underwrite the value to the customer and us in the long term.

Thank you to everyone who came to our first Christmas party.  I am still amazed that we had 10 people at our first Christmas party.  If you had asked me in June how many, of course I would have seen Caspar and I drinking sullenly from a cheap bottle of Scotch on the Southbank.  As it was, we had others to drink sullenly with and we managed to find a half decent bench in the bright lights of Covent Garden.
