How did you get where you are today?
Growing up I had access to an Amiga with its delicious graphics (for the time), this started my passion for technology. Then the internet came along and the rest was history.
It was a gradual progression from doing freelance web development and marketing in South Africa to my first in-house job in the UK, I then moved into the agency world where I spent 2 years working on some very large search campaigns.
After becoming slightly disillusioned with the agency world and its approach to search, and taking a brief sabbatical to Cambodia I found Trovus and it was music to my ears.

They're tons, but ID Software for innovation in the 90's and the artists that have started representing themselves online instead of going through the record labels are the top of my list.
