Just back from running a seminar for all portfolio companies of VC firm, R Capital held at the offices of CPC Limited.

A big thank you to Peter and his team for arranging the event - we have attached the slides for the event to this blog, and would love to hear any feedback you may have.

Post blogging on the seminar, I have just come across an article which reflects a point raised in the session - namely - Why is Facebook valued at $15bn. There is an article with an interview with Mark Zuckerberg where they outline that their biggest challenge is:

"figuring out a way to make money from its 60 million-plus members worldwide"

Clearly, they have'nt got the answers either! What we think is more pertinent is not how the poster child for the consumer sector of web2.0 makes money, but how businesses can make best use of all the tools available to deliver more value for their business.
